FAQs

Do you offer sliding scale/discounted sessions?

Yes, I do! Reach out to kerry@kerryschroeder.ca, and I’ll let you know if I have any sliding scale spots open at that time.

Do you offer free support?

Yes, I do! While I am unable to offer free sessions, I offer these no-cost resources:

💌 E-Newsletter (Neurodiversity Education & Parenting Tips Delivered Weekly)

🌈 I Think My Kid Is Neurodivergent…Now What? (Guide)

💖 Modified Coping Strategies (Guide)

What do I do if your schedule is full?

You can get on my waitlist and/or cancellation list, work with Ryan, or check out this list of amazing neurodiversity-affirming practitioners in the Calgary area.

What are your fees?

My fees are currently: $180 + GST/45-minute session, $225/60-minute session, $250 + GST/60-minute intake session, and $275 + GST/60-minute informal autism screenings. I also offer sliding scale rates and free resources, as mentioned above.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

I will soon! Right now I offer video call/Zoom, phone, email, and text sessions.

I previously had the sweetest office space (in Vancouver) equipped with art, play, and sand tray supplies. I miss it so much! Since relocating to Calgary, I’m allowing myself time to settle before finding a new space.

Can clients live outside of Alberta and still work with you?

Yep! I can work with clients from British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Yukon, North-West Territories, Nunavut or Newfoundland.

Do you accept Autism Funding Unit of BC (AFU) funds?

Absolutely! Find details here.

Will my insurance cover your sessions?

Probably! I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), as well as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). To be sure, reach out to your insurance provider.
